Hi, I'm Candi Wilson and I LOVE photographing kids. I have always enjoyed taking pictures for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would borrow my Mom’s Polaroid camera and snap pictures of my girlfriends and me in our backyard. I still have those photos of us being silly and it reminds me of how much fun we had.

I like using the natural environment and lighting to capture the genuine expression of their personality.

Today, I always have a camera handy to capture my boys alone, or with their friends, just being themselves. Whether they are jumping in a pile of leaves, digging for worms or just sitting on the grass inspecting the new insect they have just discovered. I find that using my own photos for special occasions, Holiday cards, Birthday thank-you cards have always worked best for me.

Basically, I am an on-location photographer, using the natural environment and lighting to deliver genuine, spontaneous expressions of your children. You can see from the images in my gallery, they are not staged or choreographed.

I would love to be given the opportunity to capture these same moments for you. I like to take a relaxed and fun approach by hanging back and using a zoom lens to capture their true personality of who they are. This way, I don't invade their personal space and over-react to the camera. However, if you would like to have some posed portraits, I can place them in fun poses that are comfortable for them. My goal is that everyone is relaxed and having fun!
